(not in numerical order)
Be yourself.
Be honest.
If the guy doesn't have the same standards as you or is offensive, you
don't have to be nice or pretend to be ok with it. Drop him. It's not
worth it. Girls put up with too much just so they don't offend.
Don't be afraid to ask personal questions. It's your right to know and get
any concerns you have alleviated. If he is the least bit dishonest or makes
you feel the least bit uncomfortable, stop dating him.
Don't settle or take on projects.
Don't play games. Games would be when a girl does something to punish the
guy or to make him "want" her, or to make him "realize" that she is desired by
other guys.
If you want to attract decent, honorable young men, don't dress immodestly.
Immodesty attracts filth. This means no cleavage, no tight, "showy" clothing.
No short shorts or skirts.
Good men look at almost 100% of potential dates and think, "I don't want
THAT teaching my daughters how to dress", and then ask them out just for
fun, but don't consider marrying them.
Be loyal to your family first, unless they are evil in any way. Loyalty to
family rules, standards and morals is essential to maturity and growth.
Make yourself available while still getting on with life. Go to activities,
be where good, single people are, and don't shut out potential suitors with
a schedule that is too busy.
Do something with your life. Don't be constantly available or at home
watching tv if you don't have a date.
Fall in love with a guy for who he is, not who he could be, or should be, or
would be (under other circumstances).
Don't expect the guy to change.
