X-Ray Image After Angioplasty Using a Razor-Laced Balloon

The center portion of this picture, which in the previous picture had an obvious blockage, is now nicely open. The invention of the razor balloon used for this procedure is less than 2 years old, with agressive use being less than 8 months at LDS Hospital. Longitudinal studies are not yet available to determine long-term results.
